How It All Began

How We Met
Emily & Kyle were first introduced to one another through their mutual friend, Brett Billings. After several missed opportunities (damn you, 2020), they finally connected in June of that same year — via FaceTime. What a sign of the times. Several video dates later, Emily & Kyle went on their first in-person date that summer and have been inseparable since. Their love for & devotion to one another are the cement of their relationship and they can’t wait to tie the knot in the presence of their families & friends.
The Santa Barbara Connection
Emily & Kyle are both graduates of UC Santa Barbara. In fact, they attended UCSB at the same time! Despite running in similar circles throughout college, their paths didn’t cross until years after graduation.
Their deep connection to Santa Barbara goes beyond just being Gauchos — Emily & Kyle both feel that this Central Coast gem is a home-away-from-home for them. To say “I do” to one another in Santa Barbara holds great significance to them.
And the rest is history
